From June 2016, bus line No. 521 has belonged among bus lines connecting both sides of the Krušné Mountains border zone, since it is now connecting Brandov with the 4-km-far German town of Olbernhau.
Today, there are almost no traffic obstructions for coaches of the Ústí Region Public Transport (Doprava Ústeckého kraje or DÚK), not even a state boundary.
