Benedikt

A green oasis at the edge of the town.

The sports complex called Benedict is located in a woody valley on the south-eastern outskirts of Most. Originally a flooded mine, it served as a favoured open-air pool for many years. Later, the water area was divided into two parts. In their vicinity, sports playgrounds and a large playground for children were built. The larger pond with a sandy beach and inflatable water attractions is mainly used for bathing and the smaller one is used by fishermen. The sports playgrounds in the area can be used for hockey-ball, basketball, beach volleyball, soccer, minifootball, futnet, volleyball, handball and tennis. There is also a restaurant, bowling centre, bungalows and a music stage. The pleasant atmosphere can also be enjoyed in a picnic park with barbecues. Benedict is both a place for quiet walks and also for fans of modern trends – here you will find a two-kilometre in-line track and an outdoor gym.
